Summer Timetable revised opening hours at Branch Libraries

 

Following the pattern set in previous years, opening hours at some Belfast Libraries will need to be revised for the summer months.

 

The board has agreed the following schedule for the Summer Timetable.

 

The following libraries will retain full opening hours during the summer months:

 

Central Library
Ballyhackamore
Falls

Finaghy
Grove

Holywood Arches
Lisburn Road

Ormeau
Shankill

 

Changes to opening hours are as follows:

 

Andersonstown – close on Monday and Wednesday
Ardoyne – close on Thursday & half day on Tuesday and Saturday
Ballymacarrett – close on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Chichester – close on Tuesday
Oldpark – close on Thursday (and extend hours on Tuesday to 10am until 5pm)
Ligoniel – close on Monday & Friday
Sandy Row – close on Monday and Thursday
Suffolk – close on Friday
Whiterock – close on Tuesday and Thursday
Whitewell – close on Wednesday & Friday
Woodstock – close on Saturday

 

The revised opening hours in branches are to be effective from Monday 30th June 2008 and will be reviewed at the end of the summer.
