Press Release, Spring Specials at Lisburn City Library
On Wednesday 14 May at 8pm Lisburn Tale Tellers Season will close with a highlight event featuring Len Graham and Jack Lynch and on Friday 16 May at 1pm blues guitarist Roy Fulton will perform an acoustic set accompanied by Davy Neill on bass.

For the past number of years staff in Omagh library have been collecting and digitising material which has now developed into a website. In celebration of Silver Surfers’ Day on Friday 23th May 08, Belfast Public Libraries are offering free internet taster sessions for the over 50’s. Volunteers from Business in the Community will be visiting libraries across Belfast and will be explaining basic internet skills and the setting up of email accounts.

If you are over 50 and would like to find out more about computers, then fear no more. You are invited to go along to your local NEELB library and put your name down for one of the free computer sessions, taking place during Silver Surfers’ Day, on Friday 23rd May.

The Ulster Museum’s Outreach Programme is underway across Northern Ireland while the museum is closed for a 30-month refurbishment programme. As part of this programme, Ballymoney Library is hosting an exhibition entitled ‘The Natural World’ for members of the public to view from Monday 3rd March to Wednesday 30th April (inclusive).
