A Treasure Chest pack is available FREE for every pre-school child, due to start Primary One in September 2008.
To receive the Treasure Chest, a child must join the library or confirm an existing membership. So, take your child along to your local library today – you’re never too young to join the library! Library membership is FREE so everyone can join.
The total value of this exciting gift is £15 and it has been funded by the DE Literacy Strategy group.
The Treasure Chest comes as a pre-assembled box and has a wooden effect like a pirate’s chest. It is illustrated with jewellery, coins and necklaces and has a secret compartment to keep drawings and notes.
